1. If you are the winner of our Launchpad, how do you plan on developing your IP, once the comic with your story has been released?

I have no background or experience in this as a complete novice and aim to learn more about what this takes, the dynamics and the economics of it to try to assess what is possible but I would like to develop a limited series of comics in the existing story arc coming from the launch comic. I would like to invest and reinvest to build something and would look to the Kitaro community and the talented people in it to be involved to help create additional art work and promote Kitaro, their bags and the IP. I think that the Kitaro can have broad appeal and perhaps lend themselves to toys or teddies or games. The dream would be one day to have a video game or animation or clothing range.

2. If you could license your IP to sell a product, what product would it be and what would it be called? 

Kit Kat biscuits - special edition Kit Kat-chiro with images of Ogawa demonstrating his karate skills. Maintaining the broad appeal and the apt message ‘Have a Break’, something all in the space should do and can relate to.
