dirk the deadguy

1. If you are the winner of our Launchpad, how do you plan on developing your IP, once the comic with your story has been released?

Dirk’s IP has already begun development. He has a social media presence with his own Twitter page (https://twitter.com/DirkTheDeadguy). He currently has two story arcs, one currently being written and one in the conceptual phase, centered around Pinballer lore and told within the Pinballer universe. Dirk’s backstory is based on the lore from the letter section of Pinballer #1.

Following his Launchpad story, his two stories will be told either through a blog or his Twitter or continued in comic book form. If told in comic book form, I envision Dirk’s stories will be best presented with grittier/darker artwork a la Frank Miller’s “Sin City” or the artwork of Mark Texeira’s Wolverine/Punisher/Moon Knight runs. Additionally, it would be easy to onboard other communities with Dirk's story. In his story, he could be upgraded or his current form could be destroyed and need to be replaced with another body (i.e. Huxley Robots, or another BA robot NFT).

2. If you could license your IP to sell a product, what product would it be and what would it be called?

Dirk the Deadguy would be an easy addition to an already established brand from Rogue Ales, Deadguy Ale. This would create a very symbiotic relationship, bringing a web3 brand mainstream, and exposing a world-class brand to web3.

Outside of beverages, Dirk would make a badass skate brand: apparel, decks, accessories, you name it.

Don't make a mistake, keep Dirk around
